RUGBY FOOTBALL. On Saturday, Jure Tth, the Rugby Union football matches were continued, Bombay juniors meeting Wairca juniors at Bombay, in Mr Proud='s paddock. There was a fair muster of spectators of loth sexe?, and aftrr a fa3t and cxcitinß game Bombay scored a win. 9 points to 6. For Bombay J. Lea scored two trys a> d Lapanovitch one. For the visitors J. Munro scored one try and Fawcett one. Mr Creighton, cf Pap3kura, was referee. Ihe seniors journeyed to Wairoa to play the Wairoa seniors, and mred a win by 14 points to 6. For Bombay P. Dunn scored a try which J. Markham converted; A. Madid a try, A. Cornthwaite a try and a goal 'from a penalty ki:k. For Wairoa, F. Hurst and R. Munro each scored a try.
