HARVEST FESTIVAL. The annual Harvest Thanksgiving service was held in St. Bride's Church on Sunday evening, the Vicar, the Rev. C. Vaugban, officiating. Ihe service was particularly bright and hearty, and a large congregation was present. Mrs A. Wright presided at the organ and placed for the opening voluntary "The Lord.is Loving Unto Everyman" in a most impressive manner The Vicar preached one of his eloquent sermons from the text, "Ae ye sow, so must ye reap." The Church was tastefully decorated with large offerings of corn, fruit and vegetables. These are to be sent to the Church of England Home in Grey street, Auckland. The service concluded with the finale—"Let everything that hath breath praise tbe Lord."
