The Milk Year
Our local creamery (N.Z.D.A.) is getting ituo full swing now. lhe 1 manager, Mr W. Watson, tells me that there are now 43 suppliers delivering 1230 gallons (12,3001b5) cf milk per day. The advance price (or butter fat is one hhilling per lb this year. Despite the (act that some of last year's suppliers are home-separating and sending their cream to the Waikato Co-operative Company, there is more milk being received at the creamery than this time last year.
