Road Improvements. The Paparata Road Board have decided to make several deviation* in the roads in different parts of their district. One is on the xosd 1 a<ling from Paparata to Ararimu Mr Thomas Donovan has agreed to gjVe the lan 1 for the new road in exchange for the old road. The new grade will be an immense improvement, the old road beirg so steep that it was very little use. Another deviation is to be made at Burgess' cutting, on the main road, near Paparata Valley. The feoard have a considerable amount of deferred payment thirds on hand from Crown lands in Paparata. A large part of which will be spent in improvirg the grade at Burgess' cutting. Th: surveyor is expected up any time now to do the neces- , sary survey work.
