Daii/ing is being briskly continued, and supp i; es of milk to the local creamery are keeping up fairly well. There is a good demand for milking cows, good average animals fetching from £8 to £lO. At the last fortnightly euchre social thero was a good • attendance. The prizes were won by Miss Ivy Mackenzie and Mr R. Jennings. VVeduesday being Arbor Day, the chairmm of the School Committee invited a l ' interested to meet at the school, and those Who did so, in conjunction with the: headmaster (Mr Maclaurin) and older scholars, soon made a great improvement to the appearanco of the school grounds. A goodly number of native and other troes were planted), end new floww beds foiaied which; together with the improvements already made, go fer to making the grounds pleasant to look upon. On Friday evering, 19th inst, Mr and Mrs John Pulinan celebrated the anniversaiy of their silver wedding. A very plea«ant evening was spent at their residence where their friends met and congratulated them on the occasion. They were the recipients of some very handsome presents.
