RUNCIMAN.
A meeting of suppliers of the Tuimata creamery met Messrs Ambury and Lane on July 8. In outlining the operations of the past season Mr Ambury said the output from Tivmata had considerably increased from last season, having supplied over 27 tons of butterfat. The ibuyers expressed, themselves thoroughly satisfied willi prices ptiid, which nets out at a little over ll£-d per 11) clear of auy liability for the season, with Is for July and August. The average test (4'l) for the year proved moat satisfactory. No doubt liberal top dressing and clean skimming were the two chief factors. In reply to a request for a school site, Mr Ambury promised to give the matter careful consideration. A vote of thanks for tho couiieous way in which Messrs Ambury and Lane bad met and discussed mutters, together with expressions of continued confidence in the future, was carried by acclamation. Several farms have lately changed bands at satisfactory prices Mr Hosk'tigs' (better known as Ballard's old faun) is onu of the most recent sales, having passed to Mr Frank Lungford, of Noitheru Wairoa, at £39 per acre.
