OTAUA.

The continual rain we have had lately has made the swamp very wot and the creeks are running bank high. Land is increasing in price in spite of tho wet. Mr J. McDonald has just disposed of his farm of 71 acres at £4l per acre to Mr H. 0. Mellsop, who has also bought his splendid herd of Jorseys at a satisfactory figure.
