PATUMAHOE.
I have to record the death of one of our very oldest settlers in the person of Mrs James Hunter, wife of Mr James Htruter, olthis district. Mrs Hunter, who Wasp years of age, arrived in New 2 ealand in the* ship Dauntless in the fear 1865, and has resided in this listrict almost ever since. She leave: three sons and four daughters to mourn her loss.
