TOKOROA FACTORY RETURNS.

The returns from the Tokoroa dairy factory for the month of May show that 290,107 pounds of milk was received, against 172,241 pounds for the month of May, 1928 ; 12,412.45 pounds of butterfat was received, as compared with 7590.63 pounds for the same period of the previous year. The payout for the month was Is sd, an increase of a penny over the month of May, 1928. The factory closes down on June 21 to enable further alterations to be made to the plant. These include the installation of a new engine, which has been rendered necessary by the putting in of other machinery. Mr. A. W. Graydon, the manager of the factory, was reappointed for another year at the last meeting of the directors.
