ANNUAL MEETING. i ■ The directors of the Hinuera Co- ! operative Dairy Co., Ltd., met at j Hinuera on Thursday. There were present: Messrs. J. E. West (chairman), I. Black, T. Corry, S. A. Clarke, P. Hawke, H. C. Proud and W. A. E. Leonard (secretary). The financial year having ended on May 31, the directors had before them the annual .accounts and bal-ance-sheet, and report that the company has experienced a very satisfactory year indeed. The output of "butter totalled 665 tons, as against 514 tons the previous year. It was decided to make an advance payment for May butter-fat at the » rate of Is 5d per lb for superfine, and to disperse the total bonus payments at the annual meeting, together with the usual share dividend , of seven per cent on capital. In connection with the annual meeting a concert and social evening will be held on the evening of the meeting. The butter factory is at present -undergoing its seasonal overhaul, although manufacture will continue Tight through the winter. Before the spring an additional plant will be installed to cope with the increasing supply of cream.
