Okoroire.
Anglican Concert. The Okoroire residents who atI tended the concert, followed by a dance in the local hall, had the time of their lives. The first item was a P song by Miss Mollie Thomas, followed by a song, by Mr. Arthur Brown. Recitation, Mr. Wells ; song, “ Last Rose of Summer,” Mrs. Alcorn; recitation, Mrs. Rolf; song, “ Come to the Fair,” Mr. Fitzgerald; song, “ GoodBye,” Miss Stansill; song and recitations, Rev. Turner (three encores); . song, “ Lady Moore,” Miss M. Thomas; song, “ Oldfashioned Town,” Mr. Fitzgerald; song, Mr. Arthur Brown; recitation, Mr. Rolf; recitation, “ The Tram Conductor,” Mr. Wells. Rev. Turner’s ventriloquism was much appreciated. At the conclusion Rev. Wareing, vicar of the parish, thanked the per- ' formers who were good enough to journey .from Matamata, Tirau and Putaruru to make the evening a success. The dance which followed was greatly enjoyed, music being provided by Mrs. Barr, Brown, Mrs. Gubb and Mr. F. Crabb.
