ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE ENGLISH FUTURISTS. Theatregoers of Putaruru and surrounding districts are promised a rare treat next Friday nig-ht, when; the English Futurists, a versatile company of 16 artistes of international repute, are to appear at the Public Hall. Much has been heard of these artistes from other centres. It would perhaps be a good way to introduce the English Futurists by quoting a few press critiques from the capital cities. The Auckland Star claims the show as “ the cleanest, brightest, snappiest and best show of its kind to visit the Dominion.” The Dominion says : “ The quintessence of real entertainment.” The Wellington Evening Post : “ The show of 1001 surprises.” The Christchurch Press says : “ Originality with a capital O.” These are but a few of many glowing reports received 1 everywhere they go.
