This match was played at Matamata and resulted in a convincing- win for the home team. / The game was responsible for a brilliant exhibition on the part of Wright in defeating New Zealand’s ex-champion, Dr. Laurenson, in the one full game played. CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. The B and C grade finals between Okoroire and Tirau and Matamata and Selwyn will both be played at Tirau next Saturday.
