BOWLING.
ROOSTER COMPETITION. A further game in this competition was played on Wednesday, 10th inst., between the following teams : Hamilton, Murphy, Francis, Leggatt (s), Snell, McMeekin, Griffiths, Pearse (s). Fortune smiled on the former team from the outset, when a drive ricocheted off a couple of bowls and finished up by trailing the jack for 5. At the fourth head the score was 6—-5, but from then onwards there was only one team in it, and the final scores resulted in a handsome win for Leggatt by 34 to 8.
