"COMPLETING THE APPROACHES. The new road between Te Awamutu and Putaruru across the lowlevel bridge at Arapuni was not open by Monday, but the completion of the road approach on the Te Awamutu side of the bridge was pvoreeding, and it is expected that the route will be available ony day now.
