THE REALM OF SPORT.

ARAPUNI CRICKET CLUB. The win by the Arapuni Cricket Club in their first competition match is considered to promise well for the club, especially in that it defeated last year’s winners of the Leggatt Shield. An offer has been received from Messrs. H. S. Weightman and Co. to present a bat for the member of the club making the highest batting average for the season. This will be submitted to a general meeting of members this week, which will also elect officers, those whe have acted as officers so far having done so only provisionally.
