HINUERA.
SOCIAL. A social in order to inaugurate the new Methodist Bible class at Hinuera was held the other evening. There was a good attendance, about 25 families being represented. The Rev. P. Cooke (Matamata) in a happy little speech welcomed those present and later in the evening a very enjoyable supper was provided by the girls of the class. Many games and competitions were indulged in and vocal and elocutionary items were rendered by Messrs. W. Oates and Tisch.
