RESIGNATION OF A MINISTER. Ottawa, April 8. Sir Wilfred Laurier created a sensation by announcing, in the Dominion House of Commons, tho resignation of the Hon. H. R. Emerson, Miuister for Railways, owing to newspaper reflections on his private character. Suits have been entered against several papers for libel.
