Land Question in England.

SEVERE STRUGGLE PREDICTED. London, March 26, Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, Prime Minister, in a letter, said the Government would do their utmost to press forward legislation dealing with small holdings and rural housing—two indispensable reforms. They would also persevere with the Scottish Land Bill, which ought to have a farreaching effect in chocking the exodus of people from the land. But, continued the Prime Minister, it would bo almost too much to expect that the land systems of England, Scotland, and Wales could bo reformed in a single Session. Moreover, there were indications that a severe struggle would take place in both Houses on these questions.
