The Thaw Trial.
DENIALS OF INSANITY. Now York, March 26, Mr Dolmas, loading counsel for Harry Thaw, now being tried for shooting Stanford White, has filed eight affidavits denying that the prisoner is insane. One of these is signed by Thaw’s mother. An Imprisoned liner. Perth, March 26. It is deemed impracticable to remove Yarisohetti (who is shut in by water in the Woatralia East mine) by taking him a diving dress. _ The water in the mine is being lowered six feet per day. Divers convey to Varischetti regular food supplies. The Italian Consul expresses his profound thanks for the efforts of the bravo diver Hughes and others, which, he says, are so splendidly characteristic of the race.
