Another meeting of creditors in the estate of Viscount Deerhurst was held to-day, when the bankrupt’s proposal to pay 16s in the pound down, and the balance when he succeeded to the title, was refused, as a sufficient majority of creditors did not approve of it. It is considered certain that the Western Australian Constitution Bill will pass in the shape recommended; but it will be a fortnight before it is finally settled. June 80.
