[Own Correspondent.] Auckland, December 13. Captain Wing, harbormaster at Onehunga, formerly in charge of the pilot station at Port Phillip, has a book showing that on February 2nd, 1853, a threemasted schooner called the Osprey, entered Port Phillip bay and left on June 12th of the same year. Captain Wing states he remembers perfectly the Osprey was stated to have picked up a boat at sea.
