CRICKET.-ENGLAND v. AUSTRALIA. [Reuter’s Telegrams.] Adelaide, Decembor 12. A cricket match between the English and Australian teams was commenced here to-day. . The latter were represented by Alexander, Blackbam, Boyle, Bannerman, Cooper, Giffen, Murdoch. McDonnell, Palmer, and Scott. Spofforth was absent, and Midwinter was unable to play on account of illness. The weather was splendid throughout the day, and the attendance of spectators was good.
