At the R.M. Court house this morning town and suburban sections in the Government township of Awanui were offered for sale by Mr. Featon, and realized very satisfactory prices, there being a good attendance, and competition. The following is the result of the sale:— TOWNSHIP. Sec. Name Amt. Paid,
Section No. 11, town allotment, subject to £4OO for improvements (Mr. Walker’s premises), was purchased by him. Section No. 17, subject to £4OO improvements was bought in by Mr. Haig.
