Capture of Lunatic.

[Own Correspondent.] Nelson, October 21. The lunatic Gibson was captured at Pigeon valley on Sunday night by a young man named Wadsward, who was walking with a young lady* and saw the man barefooted about a hundred yards away. He gave chase, and after a sharp run Wadsward caught the man, who was unharmed and offered no resistance. With the assistance of some settlers Gibson was removed to Spring Grove, and thence brought to Nelson, where he was charged yesterday at the Magistrate’s Court with attempted murder, and remanded for a week. He will be dealt with under the Lunacy Act.
