Arrest of a Horse Stealer.

[Own Correspondent.] Wairoa, October 21. A native named Wi Hune. alias Henare Hori, alias Henare Mahanga, cf Tauranga, was arrested on Tuesday night, at the Clyde Hotel, by Constable Shaw, on a warrat issued at Gisborne, charging him with the larceny of a horse, value £5, the property of Mr. E. C. Bolton, Ormond, Poverty Bay. The prisoner was lodged in the lock up, and yesterday morning he was brought up before T. Powdrell, Esq., J.P., and remanded for eight days to Gisborne, to appear there on the 25th October.
