Two Men Drowned.
[Own Correspondent.] Palmerston North September 21. Two mon are supposed to have been drowned on Saturday night while crossing the Manawatu river. One was a married man named Fitzsimmons, and the other a youth of seventeen named McKenzie. No one saw the occurrence, and no traces of the bodies have been found, but the horses the men were riding have been found loose, and the men have not been seen since Saturday evening.
