Farmers’ Co-operative Society. [Own Correspondent.] Timaru, October 13. The fourth annual meeting of the Canter, bury Farmers Co-operative Association was held on Saturday. The profit for the year is £4OB. The working capital now amounts Io £8,269, being an increase of £5OO during the year. A sum of £893, being 4 per cent, discount on last year’s purchases, w.is placed to the credit of individual shareholders. The bad debts incurred during the year amounted to £258, and the bank overdraft is now £2,821. No dividend was declared, but the report and balai ce-sheet were adopted.
