Colonel Stewart’s Murder.
— — BUTEK’a TeLEGKAMS., Cairo, October 11. Ti'icgranis have been received from the Mudir at Dongola with details of the treacherous pv.ssncre of Colonel Stewart's party by Arabs at Wad El Ifomar. The Mudir states that the whole party were not killed, and that the lives of fourteen of them were spared by the Arabs, who hold them prisoners. General Lord Wolsely has ordered the Mudir’s troops at Merawi, a town thirty miles below the fourth cataract on the Nile, to rescue or ransom the prisoners.
