[Own Correspondent. ’ Wellington, October 13. It is reported that the Public Works Statement will be delivered to-morrow, and will be much more lengthy than usual. It is also stated that the Public Works Estimates will contain a vote of £30,000 for the erection of a new Government Printing Office. The present building has long been acknowledged to be wholly unsuitable for the purpose, and is absolutely dangerous to the health of persons employed in it. It is stated that a site for the New’ Printing Olfics has been obtained opposite the Treasury building.-, being a portion of the Wellington Harbor Board endowment.
