[Reuter’s Telegrams.] Sydney, October 7. Sailed this evening—U.S.S. Go’s Wakatipu, for Wellington. Tawhiao and the other Maori chiefs are among the passengers. Mr. Stuart, Premier, is suffering from an attack of paralysis, and his state of health is considered serious. A gazette notice has been published declaring Sydney to be a clean port, the last case of small-pox having terminated twenty-one days ago. October 8. Mr. Stuart, Premier, when attacked with paralysis, was at the Government offices, where he now remains. He passed a quiet night, and is reported to be better this morning. Melbourne, October 7. Two more cases of small-pox occurred in this city yesterday, October 8. A Government Bill has been introduced in the Legislative Assembly providing for the construction of 927 miles of railway. Albany, October 7. Arrived at King George’s Sound this morning, the P. and O. steamship Paramatta, with the inward Brindisi mails, dated London, September stb.
