Action against a Highway Board.
[Own correspondent.] Wanganui, September 29.
The Supreme Court was occupied on Saturday with hearing an action brought by Mr, Alsett against the Manchester Highway Board, for compensation for damage sustained through the board’s employees having burnt his bush by kindling a fire at midnight. The jury could not agree and were discharged.
