Napier to London—Direct Steam Service.

Shipping Co., and the Shaw Saville and the Albion Company, to see the necessity of immediate action in the direction of reducing freight on frozen meat, to prevent the total collapse of what would otherwise be a gigantic enterprise; but so far they have failed; and now, unless they can get a substantial reduction in freights, they intend running a direct line of steamers between Napier and London.
