Franco-Chinese War.
[Reuter’s Telegrams.] Paris, September 5. Despatches from China state that Admiral Courbet is watching for an opportunity to destroy the remainder of the Chinese fleet, and that after affecting the object he will occupy the Island of Formosa with a strong force of troops.
