THE MEMBER FOR ROSLYN. [Per United Press Association.] Auckland, September 6. The Council have refused to refund to Mr. Panter the £5O he paid for the Waverly Hotel license. Wellington, September 6. The Te Aro Licensing Bench have refused to grant any extension beyond 11 o’clock. Dunedin, September 6. A crowded meeting of the Roslyn Electors was held last night to discuss Mr. Ross’s action in Parliament. The Mayor was in the chair. The following resolution was carried : “ We the electors of Roslyn, being disatisfied with Mr. Ross’s recent vote against the StoutVogel Ministry before the Government had an opportunity to announce their policy to the country, respectfully request that he will at once resign his seat as our representative. Only two or three hands were held up against it. A letter from Mr. Ross was received with much interruption.
