SEVENTH QUINQUENNIAL BE PORT. [Reuter’s Telegrams.] Sydney, August 20. The seventh quinquennial report of the Australian Mutual Provident Society was issued to-day. It contains a comprehensive resume of the history and progress of the society, and a complete exposition of its preposition. The surplus for the five years ended 31st December, 1883, as stated to be £1,156,196, of which £142,963 are reserved from distribution, leaving for division among members the sum of £1,013,233, which amount will represent reversionary bonuses amounting to £2,094,392. Examples are given in the report to show that the bonuses on this occasion will be much larger than on the previous division in 1879. [The local agent is F. J. Piesse.]
