Urgent Telegrams.
GOVERNMENT RESIGNED. [Per Association Telegrams.] Wellington, August 21. In the House this afternoon the Premier announced that he, this morning, had placed the resignation of the Government in the hands of the Governor. He would on the House rising move an adjournment till Tuesday. He had done this on the recommendation of Mr. Thomson, who had been sent for by the Governor.
