HALF-HEABLY MEETING LAPSED. NO QUOBUM. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, August 16. For want of a quorum there was no meeting of the Southern Cross Petroleum Company, but the Chairman of Directors made a statement showing the amount of capital called up to be £24,800, or 10s. 6d. on 48,000 shares. The liabilities amounted to £26,043, including paid up capital. Assets, £8790 ; ordinary expenditure, £10,862. The new bore is down 450 feet.
