Her refrigerator had worked satisfactorily, and the meat was in prime condition. The Kaiapoi Woollen Company are now executing an order for Glasgow. w Auckland, August 13. Miss McKay, who obtained a verdict of £250 damages for breach of promise of marriage against James Anderson,Tias now filed a petition that he may be adjudged a bankrupt.
Dunedin, August 13. An effort will be made to bring back Captain Bedingfield and the girl who eloped from the Salvation army. Legal force, even if available, will not be used, but the strongest moral persuasion will be used.
