[Reuter’s Telegrams.] Adelaide, August 13. The Financial Statement was made in the Assembly last night. The treasurer referred to the gravity of the financial position of the Colony, -and announced that the Government purposed the imposition of a Land Tax of a ■id in the pound, without exemption, and an Increase Tax on vested capital of sixpence, and on incomes from professions or trades of 3d in the pound. The revenue from these sources is expected to amount to about £200,000 yearly.
