The Soudan War.
THE ENGLISH EXPEDITION, MAJOR KITCHENER’S RECEPTION AT DEBBAH. [reuter’s telegrams.] Cairo, August 11. Preparations for the despatch of the Soudan Expedition are being prosecuted with great energy. A thousand river boats have been ordered for the service of the Expedition, and will assemble at Wady Haifa in October. Despatches have been received from Major Kitchener, stating that after leaving Dongola he proceeded to Debbah, and that he met with a splendid reception.
