A boy named John Kermode, four and a half yearr. old, was killed by a log rolling on him on the Tinakori range. On Saturday tho Commissioners appointed to inquire into the charges made against Dr. Levinge, of the Wellington Asylum, have submitted their report, in which they find that the charges are not sustained. The Hinemoa sailed for Lyttelton to-day to bring up the Governor. The latest information from Parihaka states that about 1,000 natives who attended the usual meeting on the 17th instant still remain there. As yet no speeches have been made.
