Mr. Edmund Marshall, the well-known comedian, was run over by a vehicle in the street to-day, and died shortly afterwards from the injuries received. July 28. There are altogether now about a dozen cases of small-pox in existence here. THE SMALL-POX. Sydney, July 28. It has boon ascertained that the patient at Fortes, is suffering from measles, and not small-pox as was supposed. The quarantine which has been established has consequently been raised. THE LATE BANK ROBBERY. Hobart, July 27. Four arrests have been made of persons believed to be implicated in the bank robbery at Beaconsfield. None of the money however has been recovered.
