[Reuter’s Telegrams.] Sydney, July 10. The Te Anau sailed this evening for Auckland. The Tarawera left Newcastle this afternoon for New Zealand. FEDERATION COUNCIL. Brisbane, July 10. In the Legislative Assembly this afternoon the draft Bill for the constitution of the proposed Australian Federal Council was under consideration. The measure was severely criticised by Macrossan, who, however, agreed to the desirability of federation.
