A meeting of the Committee was held last night in the Court Hou.-e, when the catering committee were handed a list of promised donations, which had been cunvusne i for by Mrs Pollen and friends, who have in spite of the bad weather been most energetic in their efforts. An announcement will appear in our next where donations can be sent to. The following gentlemen have been appointed agents lor the sale of tickets : — Messrs. Da vis, Makaraka; Mr J. Cuoper, Waerenga-a-hika; Mr Wallace, Ormond ; xVlr Cook, Patutahi; and Mrs Brown, Adams, E. K. Brown, M‘Kay and all other stores. Ihe Committee ask all those who intend to purchase tickets to do so at once, in order that the catering arrangements may be completed successfully.
