The well-known entire “ New Chum,” will stand this season at Tutoko. This horse is now but 9 years old, and is a sure foal getter. He was bred by Mr Donald Fraser, Rangitikei, by Traducer, dam. Fair Lass, by Riddlesworth, grand dam, Fair Wave—one of the grandest Arab mares ever imported into New Zealand.
The well-known thoroughbred entire horse, Bothwell, will stand thia season at the Waerenga-a-hika Hotel stables, grand horse is rising six year-old, Traitor, dam, Myrtle, by Golden » (imp.) out of Moss Rose, Traitor by Traducer, out of Deception, by Young Plover, Vanity by Sir Charles, Giggler by Tomboy, Duchesa of York by Waxy, Moses, dam, by Johanna, Grey Skin, by Woodpecker, Herod, Golden Grape, (imp.), by Barnton, out of HopSicker, by (irlando, out of Hiobine, by Sir [ercules. Barn ton is a brother to Voltigeur. Bothwell’s stock, as 2 year-olds, are splendid animals. He can be seen at the horse parade on Saturday next, and is owned by Messrs Cooper ana Thorpe.
