Southern Cross Petroleum Company.

The Christchurch shareholders in the Southern Cross Petroleum Company have (says the Napier Telegraph) selected the following gentlemen to act as the future directors of the company, and whose names have been approved of by the Napier shareholders Messrs W. D. Meares, G. Hart, W. H. Spackman, J. P. Jameson, F. W. Williams, J. T. Rouse and J. Rhodes. As more than half the shares are heid in Christ, church and Napier the election of the above directory is. certtiin. The general meeting of the company is fixed for the 14th instant at Gisborne.
