The Rev. Mr Hill will preach (we trust not)' his last sermon in Gisborne on Sunday, ana as, consequently he will not be present on the occasion of the Easter offering, the Vestry have decided to devote the receipts of the collection to the rev. gentleman, whos ministrations have endeared him to all —not alone to his own flock, but to almost every man, woman, and child in the district. Mr Hill by hi* genial manner has secured for himself friends from all denominations, and although they, in common with ourselves will regret his loss, he will carry with him the gooef wishes of the community.
