A meeting of the Turanganui Lodge of the Ancient ana Accepted Order of Freemasons’ was held last evening at their Lodge Room, in Harris-street, for the purpose of installing the officers for the ensuing year. The following officers were elected and installed :— Brothers E. P. Joyce, W.M.; W. F. Crawford, S.M.; A. J. Croll, J.W.; J. Browne, W, Treas.: S. J. Bromley, Sec.; J. W. Witty, S.D.; R. Thelwall, J.D.; A. J. Fyson, J.G.; H. Fraser, Tyler. After the installation there was a very nice supper provided for the brethren of the mystic tie, and after singing “ Auld Lang Syne ” in a most appropriate manner, the brethren dispersed at the wee sma’ ’ours ayont the twal, full justice having been done to the toast of the health of the retiring Worshipful Master.
