Messrs Winter and Stubbs, two of the directors of tne above Company, have just returned from an official visit to the works. Rock was reached in the shaft at 146 ft; sinking progressing rapidly ; oil is now rising through the bottom of the shaft. Time will not permit for a fuller report until Monday.
