The following acceptances and entries have been received by the Wanganui Jockey Club for their Spring Meeting to take place on the 20th October, 1882 :— Wanganui Stakes :—Sincerity, Larry, Tally Ho, Hinemoa, Blue Gown, StCiair, Gem, Fishwoman, and Minerva. Handicap Hurdles New Year, Mount, Parnell (late Totara), Larry, Ngata, Fungus, Dianthus, and Claggan.

Maiden Plate :—Hipporina, Landseer, Sweet Home, Portrait, Last Chance, Ringleader, Torpedo, and Daphne.

Railway Plate : —Hippodamia, C&melia, Fishwoman, and Sincerity. Trotting Races-

The following entries and acceptances fur the trotting events have bean received :— Maiden Trotting Race Speculation, Rambler, Castaway, Wakatu, Jack, and Dan.

Trial Stakes Rambler, Staffordshire, Maud, Law, Solicitor and Dan,

With regard to the programme for the .Summer Meeting, it was . decided to do away with the Maiden Plate ! of £5O, and have a Seiling Race of £6O in its • stead. The Consolation R ;ue was reduced ■by £lO. The Hutt Park Stakes was in- ■ creased from £lOO to £125, the 2nd horse to receive £2O, and the 3rd £5 from the ' stakes. The meeting to be held on the first Thursday and Friday in February, 1883. It was resolved that the Stewards should act ■as Handicappers. The nominations for tho ' Wellington Cup will close on 6th November. I but the date of other entries will be settled I to-day. At the next meeting a motion will be proposed to remove the disqualification i off Bob Ray, and the horse Mata.

The following is the programme for the Summer Meeting : —lst day : Flying Stakes, £75 ; Handicap Hurdle, £6O ; Hack Hurdle £l5, Wellington Cup, £500; Hack Race, £lO ; Selling Race, £6O. 2nd day : Railway Stakes Handicap, £5O : Hutt Park Stakes Handicap, £125 ; Hurdle Handicap, £75 ; Wellington Racing Club Handicap, £2OO ; Hack Race, £lO ; Consolation £4O. It was decided that the winner of tho Selling Race should be sold for £2OO, any surplus to go to the Club.
